Tanu Kumar is a doctoral candidate in the department of Political Science at UC Berkeley. Alongside research methodologies and transparency, her interests include using experimental methods to understand political and economic change in cities in the developing world, particularly in India. Her dissertation project evaluates the impact of low-income housing programs on the lives of households in Mumbai. She has also worked on issues of information and water intermittency in Bangalore.
