Sean Grant is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social & Behavioral Sciences at the Indiana University Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health. His research focused on evaluating psychosocial interventions and advancing the rigor of intervention research methods. He principally researches interventions for substance use, though he is passionate about applying experimental and research synthesis methods to interventions spanning the social and behavioral sciences. The BITSS Catalyst Program provides a wonderful opportunity to formally connect with others working to improve transparent social science research. Having an official network that connects those in this space promises more efficient and effective advances in teaching and practicing transparent research in the social sciences.
