Kacana Sipangule BITSS CatalystEconomics

Kacana Sipangule is a Research Fellow at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and a PhD Candidate in Economics at the University of Goettingen in Germany. She is also a Research Economist at the Poverty Reduction Equity and Growth Network (PEGNet). Her research interests include development, experimental, and agricultural economics. She previously was a PhD Research Intern at the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics (UNU-WIDER), as well as a Research Fellow at the GIGA German Institute for Global Area Studies. She holds a Master of Science in Economics from the Free University of Amsterdam and Bachelor of Arts in Development Studies and Economics from the University of Zambia.
