Dagim Belay BITSS CatalystEconomics
Dagim Belay is currently a PhD student of Economics at the Department of Food and Resource Economics, Faculty of Science, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He obtained an MSc degree (Cand.Scient.Oecon) in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Copenhagen and has a BA degree in Economics from University of Gondar, Ethiopia. He attended the MSc program in Economics (Economic policy analysis) at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. In fall 2016, he was an East Africa Social Sciences Translation Collaborative (EASST) Fellow with the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA) at UC Berkeley.
Dagim’s main areas of interest focus on applying impact evaluation techniques to provide policy insights in health, development, environment, and agriculture.
