Our Network
BITSS aims to build and support a growing network of individuals, institutions, and initiatives to effect change at scale. Aside from partnering with universities, research institutions, government agencies, and non-profits, we also connect and empower individual trainers and change-makers, and recognize and incentivize good work. Get in touch with us if you’re interested in collaborating!
Catalyst Program
The Catalyst program formalizes a network of professionals to advance the teaching, practice, funding, and publishing of transparent social science research. The overarching goal of the program is to connect and empower individuals to make changes in their own classrooms, in their universities, and across their network, thereby achieving far-reaching change. Catalysts have access to grants to support their teaching and training efforts.
Leamer-Rosenthal Prizes for Open Social Science
These prizes recognize (i) faculty who have incorporated research transparency methods and subject matter into their course curricula and (ii) outstanding graduate students and early-career researchers whose work demonstrates or advances transparent and reproducible practices. Recipients receive cash prizes, are recognized at our Annual Meetings, and receive support from BITSS to promote their work at conferences and other events.
Partnering Organizations
BITSS collaborates with a number of partners in the global open science ecosystem. These include non-profit organizations, research labs, software developers, and universities, among others.
