Advancing Transparency and Reproducibility in Behavioral Science Catalyst Training Project

Syeda Ullah

This project advances open science by embedding transparency and reproducibility practices into graduate-level training. Partnering with a postdoctoral scholar teaching graduate statistics, we will develop modules for a statistics and methods course that cover preregistration, pre-analysis plans, version control, and the public sharing of data, code, and study materials. Students and colleagues will also gain hands-on experience using the Open Science Framework (OSF) to implement these practices. Beyond the classroom, we will host workshops for the broader academic community through our lab, creating opportunities to apply open science tools in ongoing research. By integrating platform-based skills with methodological training, this project fosters a durable culture of transparency and ethics in research. Our goal is to equip emerging scholars with practical expertise that strengthens both their careers and the rigor of behavioral science.
