Research Transparency and Reproducibility Workshop – American Institutes for Research (AIR)
BITSS has partnered with the American Institutes of Research (AIR) to deliver a hands-on workshop focusing on pre-registration, pre-analysis plans, open data, version control, and dynamic documents.
Through its research, education, and other catalytic activities, BITSS supports individuals and institutions scale-up research transparency and reproducibility practices by developing and delivering consensus-building and training activities, as well as supports the development and refinement of internal protocols for guiding research and policy analysis.

BITSS will deliver a workshop for 10-15 junior and senior AIR research staff. Led by BITSS staff Fernando Hoces de la Guardia and Jennifer Sturdy, workshop topics will focus on:
- The Credibility Crisis
- Registration and Pre-Analysis Plans
- Data Management and De-Identification for Open Data
- Reproducible Coding Strategies and Intro to Version Control (GitHub)
- Dynamic Documents for Open Policy Analysis
