BITSS will hold its seventh Annual Meeting on December 10, 2018 in Berkeley, California. The event will bring together leaders from academia, scholarly publishing, and policy to share knowledge and discuss the evolving movement toward research transparency and efforts to strengthen the standards of openness and integrity in the social sciences.
The 2018 Annual Meeting will feature keynote speakers, results from selected Social Science Meta-Analysis and Research Transparency (SSMART) grants, and presentations of selected research from an open call for papers.
Call for Papers: Papers or long abstracts must be submitted by Friday, October 12 (11:59 PM Pacific Time). Travel support is available for presenters. Eligible submissions include both completed papers and works in progress.
A hands-on workshop on tools and best practices for transparent and reproducible research will be held in the morning.
