Jayash Paudel BITSS CatalystEconomics
Jayash Paudel is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Boise State University. He earned a B.A. with honors in Mathematical Economics from Colorado College in 2010 and a Ph.D. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst in 2019.
His research concentration is in environmental economics, applied microeconomics, and international development. His research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals such as Ecological Economics, Journal of Comparative Economics, and Oxford Development Studies. While at the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, he conducted over a dozen workshops on MATLAB, STATA, SAS, R and Python for faculty and students.
Previously, Jayash worked as a Consultant at the World Bank and as a Research Associate at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL). He is a member of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (AERE) and the American and Agricultural Applied Economics Association (AAEA).
