Erick Ouma Otieno is an emerging scholar with a strong interdisciplinary background in education research, geography, history, archaeology and political studies. He holds a First-Class Honours degree in Education (Geography and History) from Kenyatta University and a Master’s degree in Education Research from Moi University. Erick is a DAAD Alumni, Alumni of Geo-Training working group, Frankfurt University in Germany, Africa Scholarship Exchange Alumni, and a beneficiary of Erasmus+ KA171(2022-1-SK01-KA171-HED000076046 International Credit Mobility Grant Programme in Trnava University in Slovakia. He is a graduate teacher Licensed with Teachers Service Commission(TSC), a member of Young Scholars Initiative (YSI), Africa Working Group, with a growing portfolio of collaborative work in educational research, climate change education, and indigenous knowledge systems.He is an enthusiastic tutor with extensive experience in teaching Geography, History, Archaeology and Political Studies subjects and mentoring students from diverse backgrounds.His research interests center on Geography Education, History Education, Teacher Education. Educational Research, Decolonizing Knowledge, Evidence-Informed Policymaking, and Advancing Inclusive, Sustainable Development in African contexts.
