Richard Ball is an Associate Professor of Economics at Haverford College.  His interest in research transparency grew out of his experience advising undergraduate research projects, including papers written for introductory statistics classes as well as senior theses in economics.  In 2013, with colleague Norm Medeiros, he launched Project TIER (Teaching Integrity in Empirical Research). Dr. Ball became interested in joining the Catalyst program because interacting with BITSS in any way has always been engaging and productive.
